Touch Is Medicine
Care rooted in dignity, comfort, and research.
Touch Is Medicine is our research- and learning-driven initiative focused on strengthening the role of therapeutic touch as a meaningful complement to healthcare. Through collaboration, education, and thoughtful data collection, we work to inform best practices, improve quality of care, and support evidence-informed approaches for individuals living with complex medical conditions.
This initiative marks the first phase of our long-term commitment to education, ethical exploration, and research readiness around therapeutic touch.
Touch In Motion
Care that keeps you moving
Touch in Motion includes our community-based programs and events designed to meet people where they are. Through partnerships, outreach events, and shared experiences, we create accessible spaces that support caregivers, families, and underserved populations with presence, education, and connection.
Touch in Motion creates accessible entry points for healing, education, and connection—meeting people where they are.
Community Care Access Fund
Where care, purpose, and compassion connect.
The Community Care Access Grant helps individuals and families receive therapeutic touch when cost might otherwise prevent access. Through nonprofit funding and community support, this program provides complimentary or reduced-cost care, ensuring that compassion and care are not limited by financial circumstances.
This initiative marks the first phase of our long-term commitment to education, ethical exploration, and research readiness around therapeutic touch.
It’s where supporters, therapists, partners, and community members stay informed, get involved, and help sustain the work of The Touch Institute through connection, participation, and support.
