We believe therapeutic touch belongs as a respected, informed partner within whole-person care. Not separate from healthcare. Not in competition with it. But working alongside medical providers, caregivers, and communities to support comfort, regulation, dignity, and quality of life, especially for those living with complex medical conditions.

Touch Is Medicine is how we pave the way toward that future. It is where learning, collaboration, and real-world care come together to inform how services are delivered, how therapists are trained, and how standards evolve over time.
Our Starting Point
Every meaningful system begins with a place where care can be delivered responsibly and learning can happen in real time.

We are beginning with senior living and care communities, where many individuals experience chronic pain, mobility challenges, isolation, and nervous system stress alongside complex medical histories. These environments highlight the need for therapeutic care that is adaptive, medically informed, and grounded in presence.

Through Touch Is Medicine, we are exploring how medical-based massage can support comfort, regulation, movement, and emotional wellbeing for older adults living in these settings, while integrating respectfully within existing care structures.
