Expanding access to therapeutic care when cost would otherwise stand in the way.

The Community Care Access Grant exists to help remove financial barriers to therapeutic care for individuals and families who would benefit from medically informed massage but may not otherwise be able to receive it.

This program is made possible through nonprofit funding and community support, and is designed to ensure that compassionate, skilled care is accessible when it is needed most.

How the Community Care Access Grant Works

The Community Care Access Grant is a collaborative effort between The Touch Institute and Thrive Medical Massage, with each organization serving a distinct role.

Who We  Serve

The Touch Institute is responsible for securing funding, managing the application process, and determining grant eligibility. Applications are reviewed thoughtfully, with care taken to understand individual circumstances and needs.

When a grant is approved, Thrive Medical Massage provides the therapeutic services. Care is delivered by Thrive Certified Practitioners trained to work with complex needs, safety considerations, and individualized pacing. Services are scheduled directly through Thrive once approval is granted.

What the Grant Can Be Used For

Approved grants may be applied toward:

  • Complimentary therapeutic massage services

  • Reduced-cost care over a defined period

  • Support for individuals navigating medical complexity, caregiving strain, or limited financial resources

Grant availability and coverage may vary based on funding levels and individual circumstances.
